About Brenda

“I am completely in my element on stage,” said Brenda. “I can only remember that I have always been busy with singing courses, piano lessons, dance classes and theater companies. This is what I was made for.”

With a conservatory diploma in her pocket, the singer has now managed to secure a solid place in the Dutch music world.

Every winter she tours the major theaters in the Netherlands with fellow singers Syb van der Ploeg (de Kast), Edward Reekers (Kayak) and a 5-piece band. Together they alternately stage the musical theater shows “The Best of Britain” and “Motel Westcoast”. In addition, Brenda has two albums (Sweet Disguise 2014, Young & Foolish 2017) to her name with her own songs with which she performed on national radio stations such as Radio 538 and Radio 2. She sang as a studio singer in commercials for brands such as Primera and Prodent and works as a professional songwriter.

Since childhood, Brenda enjoys singing at weddings. It is a fantastic challenge for her every time, to capture exactly that atmosphere in her performance that matches the bridal couple and the moment.

“It is special and a responsibility to be able to contribute to such an important moment in people’s lives. I want to make it the most special performance every time.” said Brenda. Because she accompanies herself on the piano and with her broad musical experience, she knows how to add something very special and give her own touch to every song. Her passion for music and dedication to the profession are evident in every note.

From intimate and fragile to dynamic and energetic sounds. With her versatile and powerful voice and a surprising repertoire, Brenda not only knows how to give that extra shine to the ceremony, but she also likes to accommodate the reception or evening party with the right musical atmosphere.

Brenda can be booked as a duo with percussive drums at the reception, for example, or with a band consisting of top musicians at the evening party. Brenda loves to interact with the audience and her band members and makes every performance an unforgettable experience. She guarantees quality ánd enthusiasm!
